My goal is to offer a warm, compassionate environment where you can reconnect with yourself and feel supported as you move through uncertainty or feeling stuck. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and received my Masters degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.

My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and collaborative, grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. Certified Infant Sleep Educator, Baby Led Sleep and Well-Being Specialist

Becky is a twice certified Infant Sleep Specialist, postpartum doula, and mom of two. Her introduction to the world of infant and child sleep began during her first pregnancy, when she attended a prenatal sleep education class. It was eye opening to gain knowledge and insight on normal infant sleep behaviours and the science behind it, beyond the anecdotal stories and general sleep assumptions in our society.

Parenting a very challenging sleeper fueled her passion to help other families navigate the rollercoaster of infant and child sleep. Parents so often question if their baby’s behaviour is normal, and how to sort through the conflicting information out there. She provides parents with the knowledge and reassurance around what is normal, tools to implement during challenging times, and strategies for striking a balance between the fundamental needs of baby and the equally as important wellbeing of the parents.

Becky’s approach is supportive of all types of feeding, co-sleeping, bedsharing and nurturing a healthy and secure attachment. Her sleep calls focus on educating parents in what is developmentally normal and expected for each stage of sleep through the first year and beyond. Each child is unique and every family is different, so all sleep support is customized, working together with parents to create a strategy that works best for them and aligns with their values. Rest assured that YOU are doing an amazing job as a parent, and allow Becky to guide you through the ups and downs of sleep!

Hi, I’m Kayla, I am a trained birth and postpartum doula, and I’m excited to be supporting families at The WOMB. My educational journey began with a passion for science, leading me to complete a Bachelor of Health Sciences in midwifery. Over the course of more than three years, I had the privilege of practicing as a midwife, guiding clients through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care across various regions of Ontario, including Grey Bruce.

After being a part of hundreds of families’ journeys, I made the personal decision to transition from midwifery to doula work—a path that allows me to continue providing personalized care during this profound and transformative time.

I am deeply committed to supporting each family’s unique needs, wishes, and goals. Even when plans change, I’m here to offer consistent emotional, physical, and informational support, helping families navigate the unknown with confidence and empowerment. In my time away from on-call work, I enjoy cooking, crafting, and hand making products. I’m also a lover of history and antique shopping.

I’m thrilled to be a part of your journey here at The WOMB.

Hi everyone! I’m Alex, a Registered Physiotherapist, and I’m incredibly excited to join the team at the WOMB.

I completed my BA in Kinesiology from Western University and my MSc PT at The University of Alberta. I have been working as a physiotherapist since 2018, treating a wide variety of conditions such as orthopedic injuries, vestibular/ balance issues, concussions, and everything in between! I’m passionate about connecting with my clients to understand their concerns and provide them with the knowledge and tools they need to reach their goals. I truly believe that “movement is medicine” and I want to motivate my clients to see the value in physical activity as an integral part of their wellbeing.

During my first pregnancy in 2022, my eyes were opened to the importance of pelvic health physiotherapy. I completed my pelvic health training in 2023 and learned how beneficial this knowledge and treatment can be for everyone, across the lifespan. I believe in client-centred care, taking time to hear your whole story, and looking at you as a whole person rather than just a set of symptoms.

As a mom of two busy little kids, I understand that rehabilitation has to fit your life; not the other way around. If you’re looking to address a concern or work on your physical functioning preventatively, I’d love to help!

I started out as a psychiatric nurse, but really found my passion when I became a lactation consultant. Helping families through such a personal and important part of early parenthood has been incredibly rewarding. My background in mental health has been a huge help, especially when it comes to the emotional ups and downs of the postpartum period—both in my own experience and when supporting others.

My interest in this work really took off after facing my own breastfeeding challenges. That experience made me want to be there for others with empathy and encouragement. A big part of my journey has been working in rural areas, where getting access to specialized care can be tough. It’s work that truly matters to me, and I love that I get to make a real difference while also having a great work-life balance. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outside, biking with my boys, or reading on my Kindle.

I’m really looking forward to this next chapter with The WOMB and getting to support even more families on their individual journeys.
